| The Dunes Golf and Country Club is located on the Gulf of Finland seaside 38 kilometers north of downtown St.Petersburg. For two decades Dunes has been known in St.Petersburg as a popular resort area with its hotel and sanatorium, rehabilitation center, unique microclimate, sandy beaches, fresh sea air and pine forests. During the last few years a good resort infrastructure has been filled up with different facilities for outdoor activities: tennis, beach volleyball, horse-riding, archery, riflery and GOLF. In 1995 we started with an 18 hole miniature golf course. It was followed by a driving range and a putting green in 1996.
In 1997 we opened the executive 6 hole golf course. This course is ideal for beginners to take up the game and to learn the rules and the etiquette. Although all holes are short par 3s, scratch players say that this course is tough enough to challenge them and is a good practice facility to improve the short game. Also in 1997 we built the 5 cottages (dachas) on the club village. This dachas can be rented on a long-term basis or for overnight accomodation. In 2001, we opened the Club House. Since the first part of July 2002, DUNES Golf & Country Club offers foreign tourists the new opportunities for golf playing in the Northern Capital of Russia. Golf season in Dunes runs from the beginning of April to beginning of December. During Northern Russia's famous "White Nights" you can play even until midnight! But if you think everything ends in November, you are mistaken. The winter months bring with them white days of fun-filled recreation at Dunes. You can take a spin on one of the club's snowmobiles, go ice skating, cross country skiing or even do some sledding. Dunes offers outdoor recreational entertainment throughout the entire year.
